Founded
Our Story
We George and Faith Zimmerman of Tobin Apparatus developed the Poly Pickup Bands after a custom hay baler complained to us about rocks and other objects continually bending his metal bands. Our original focus was to make parts that were more durable by giving rather than bending. Once we got them in the field, not only did our Poly Pickup Bands outlast the metal ones, but the biggest thing was the noise reduction.
From there, we shifted all our focus to making Poly Pickup Bands for all the balers we could, and as of today, we have developed 40+ baler and chopper parts.
We are a small family-owned business owned by George and Faith Zimmerman that manufactures all our products here in beautiful rural Greentop Missouri.
